Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park • Morning: Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide. Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through Rwanda’s picturesque countryside, characterized by rolling hills and lush greenery. • Afternoon: Arrive at Volcanoes National Park, a haven for mountain gorillas and a hub for various wildlife activities. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy the serene environment. • Accommodation: Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge (Mid-range) • Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience • Early Morning: After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety. You’ll be assigned to a group and a specific gorilla family to track. • Trekking: Embark on a guided trek through the forested slopes of the Virunga Mountains. The duration of the trek can vary from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once located, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.  • Afternoon: Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later, you may choose to visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village to immerse yourself in Rwandan traditions and culture. • Accommodation: Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge (Mid-range) • Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Day 3: Optional Activities & Departure • Morning: Depending on your flight schedule, you can opt for additional activities such as: • Golden Monkey Tracking: Explore the bamboo forests to observe the playful golden monkeys, an endangered species endemic to the region. • Dian Fossey Tomb Hike: Pay homage to the renowned primatologist by visiting her final resting place and learning about her conservation efforts. • Musanze Caves Exploration: Discover the ancient lava tunnels and learn about their geological and historical significance. • Afternoon: After the morning activity, enjoy lunch before embarking on the drive back to Kigali. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. • Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch  Note: Gorilla trekking permits are limited and in high demand.
